Pravartak is a qualified AoR at the Supreme Court of India, having a vast experience of litigation in civil and criminal law. He has a special interest in Environmental and infrastructure law, as well as constitutional law. Several cases argued and assisted by Pravartak before the Supreme Court of India, as well as the Bombay High Court and other Tribunals, have been reported in law journals and the media.
Pravartak Pathak holds a law degree from Pune University and have a master's in International Law and Arbitration. He started practice at the Bombay High Court in 2009 and moved to the Supreme Court of India in 2020. He is a qualified advocate, having appeared in a record examination conducted by the Supreme Court of India in 2022.
He is a member of the Advocates' Association of Western India (AAWI), the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), the Supreme Court Advocate on Record Association (SCAORA), and the Bar Association of India (BAI).
Pravartak is an empanelled advocate with the Union of India, State of Maharashtra, Vidarbha Irrigation Development Corporation, Gondwana University and National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) and various other private entities to represent before the Supreme Court of India and other Courts in India.
Pravartak Pathak was unanimously elected to the Governing Council of the Bar Association of India in 2020 to represent the State of Maharashtra. In addition to BAI, Pravartak Pathak is also collaborating with other voluntary organisations, particularly in the legal field. He is associated with several social causes, including environmental protection, and tribal rights.
Pravartak Pathak was honoured as a resource person at various national and international conferences, seminars, professional institutions, and other social organisations. He worked as Module Coordinator for the Diploma Course in Environmental Management, conducted by Somaiya College of Science, Mumbai, from 2015 to 2017. Pravartak is also a columnist, having written several columns and articles for daily newspapers and magazines. The Daily Deshdoot Nashik awarded him the Tejas Puraskar.
